Sunsets

Over the years I have had the opportunity to view some spectacular sunsets in some beautiful settings.  Here are some of my favourite places to watch the sun go down, in no particular order.  If a lake or river is in the scene, even better.
North Tea Lake in Algonquin Park, a couple of shots are on my blog "Algonquin Autumn."
Lake Nipissing, which is from this blog.
Grace Lake in Killarney Provincial Park, which has a photo on my post,
"Nellie Lake."
The Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, which I saw when I rode my       bicycle across them in 2006.  (A future blog...)
The Andes Mountains in Bolivia, where I visited relatives in 2000, (another future blog...)
Lake Erie, near West Lorne, left, and finally,
anywhere along Lake Huron- Port Elgin, Southampton, Sauble Beach.

Here is one sunset by the Master Artist.  No two are alike, just like snowflakes.  These were shot on the North Bay Waterfront on Lake Nipissing last October.  They were taken with a Canon Powershot SX120IS.  The best shots were taken on these 2 modes:   Scene (sunset) at ISO 200, F2.8-F4.0, at one-eighth to half second exposures; and Manual, ISO 100, F2.8-3.5, from 0.25 to 4 second exposure.    The first five shots were taken on the Scene-sunset mode, ISO 200, at about 1/5 second exposures.  Most of the remaining shots are on Manual mode.
Enjoy one of the Master's masterpieces!
